About

Elisha Williams is a passionate, driven, and multifaceted performer and creator. She gained her love for performing at the young age of 4, after visiting her aunt’s studio in Birmingham, AL every other weekend for years. Her first theatrical performance at the age of 11, was for a semi-professional production of “The Music Man” at the Alys Stephens Center in Birmingham, AL. She continued to study the craft of acting and began creating her own short films on the topics of domestic violence and breaking the stigma of mental health. In the midst of creating her short films and other projects, she graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2017 and began auditioning for several regional Indie and SAG television/film productions and commercials. In 2019 she started taking “Set Construction” and “Set Lighting and Production” courses while adding new skills such as photography (with a primary focus on performers headshots) and on-camera firearm handling. She found herself being on a production set every other week in 2019 for a comedy sketch series called “It’s A Southern Thing”, and for projects ranging from voiceover work for “Anchorlight Productions in NYC” to commercials and print work such as “Little Debbie” and “Golden Flake” and co-star and principle roles on, Netflix- “Insatiable” and TvOne-“For My Man.” She is the 2020 inaugural winner of the “Black Lens Filmmaker Grant” presented by Sidewalk Film Festival and The Law Firm of Stacey A. Davis. She is currently attending, “Identity School of Acting”(Alumni includes: John Boyega, Letitia Wright, Malachi Kirby, Damson Idris, among many other brilliant actors.) Her hopes are to become bicoastal, work with artists from around the globe to bring different dynamics and backgrounds to her/their projects, continue photographing artists, and to gain a great deal of knowledge about the film and television industry as a whole.
